Salvation is spoken of in the bible in many different contexts and when it is all pieced together, the various uses speak of God saving us in three time periods of our lives:

  • Past: An initial moment when we become his
  • Present: God keeps us saved day to day
  • Future: Our eternal salvation when we leave this world
